In order to increase the involvement of domestic industry enterprises in standardization activities, ”STANDARTINFORM” held a seminar “Standards in the field of new production technologies”.
Deputy Director General Yuri Budkin and Head of the Department of digital modeling, design and technological documentation, end-to-end technologies and information security Alexander Knyazev represented ”STANDARTINFORM” at an event which was held online.
The meeting was attended by representatives of technical committees on standardization TC 119 “Reliability in technology”, TC 125 “Application of statistical methods”, TC 051 “Design documentation system”, TC 183 “Vibration, shock and technical condition monitoring”, representatives of Competence Centers in the field of railway transport (Moscow State University of Railway Engineering), nuclear industry (CNIITMASH Rosatom).
During the discussion, the expediency of forming the National Standardization Program (PNС) for 2021 in the direction of developing standards using advanced standardization programs «Technet» and for meeting the requirements of the technical regulations of the EEEC in the field of mechanical engineering was noted.
“Nowadays standardization becomes more and more important as it interconnects technical solutions and provides an opportunity to ensure intersectoral cooperation of activities and effective introduction of knowledge-intensive technologies into production. Intersectoral standards and general technical complexes set the level, which manufacturers of goods and services should strive for. In the Federal Information Fund on Technical Regulations and Standards the number of cross-sectoral standards exceeds 1000, a significant part of which was developed more than ten years ago, – Yuri Budkin, who heads TC 051 mentioned, and then added, – Development in the area of inter-sectoral standards affects the functioning of almost forty-five technical committees, twelve interstate technical committees and twenty-one international (regional) technical committees. The task of updating the intersectoral standards and developing general technical complexes is of a systemic nature, it should be focused on the implementation of promising programs in priority areas and in its solution unite the activities of technical committees and organizations, as well as the secretariats which are leading them”.
The seminar actively discussed the issue of involving industrial partners and the business community in standard development.
Conducting preliminary coordination of the topics of standards development between the technical committees when making proposals into the PNC is recognized as extremely important. This will allow ”STANDARTINFORM” and other organizations developing inter-industry standards and general technical complexes to join their forces.
For reference: «Technet» is a cross-market and cross-industry direction, providing technological support for the development of markets for scientific and technical information, primarily “Aeronet”, «Autonet”, «Marinet», «Energynet» and high-tech industries.
