"STANDARTINFORM" took part in the meeting of the Technical Committee on standardization "Ventilation and air conditioning" (TC 061).
They discussed the works of the current year, as well as the works introduced into the National Standardization Program (NSP) 2021. The developments within the framework of adjacent technical committees of the next year were also mentioned.
Participants of the meeting noted that there is a completely new topic on standardization, related to the establishment of requirements for chimney systems, for which there is currently no regulatory framework.
"STANDARTINFORM" started implementing this project in 2020. The first edition of the standard, Chimneys - Requirements for metal chimneys - Part 1: System chimney products; German version EN 1856-1:2009, has been developed" - said Vyacheslav G. Krasilov, Head of Heat Generation Equipment Department for Ventilation and Air Conditioning Systems of "STANDARTINFORM" . He told that at the same time with this topic of NP "Alliance. Stove-maker" developed the first editions of standards based on DIN EN 1856-2 and DIN EN 1859, with some documents developed with extrabudgetary funds.
The participants of the meeting declared that in order to successfully establish requirements for chimney systems, it is necessary to focus on international and regional experience in standardization, primarily on standardization conducted within the European Union.
"It is necessary to take into account such experience and develop harmonized standards in relation to EN standards", - said Alexander V. Zazhigalkin, Chairman of TC 061.
In addition it was noted that for the harmonization of the regulatory framework for the field of TC 061, we should take maximum participation in the activities of related technical committees, primarily in the activities of TC 465 "Construction".
