Working sessions of the Youth Policy Council under the head of Rosstandart were held in the framework of the International Technology Forum "Russian Standardization Week". The event was held on the platform of the D.I. Mendeleev All-Russian Institute for Metrology (St. Petersburg).
During the discussion on the best standardization practices as tools to eliminate technical barriers, arguments were made in favor of machine-readable standards development and justification of the importance of creating an information base centers on standardization.
"STANDARTINFORM" was represented at the meeting by young specialists: Khristina Kosolapova (responsible secretary of the Youth Policy Council under the head of Rosstandart, Enquiry Point (TBT/SPS) WTO Russia), Daria Urozhayeva (NIO-104 department of digital modeling, design and technological documentation, cross-cutting technologies, information security), Tatiana Santakova and Anastasia Zolotykh (department of standardization in the field of social protection).
Daria Urozhayeva introduced one of the team position, according to which information centers on standardization will allow potential product manufacturers to find an exhaustive list of standards.
Tatiana Santakova and Anastasia Zolotykh defended the position of the second team, which was to present the standard as a program code.
"Implementation of machine-readable standards will provide maximum information about the product in a minimum amount of time in the form of descriptions of its individual elements. This method can also be integrated to automatically check production processes according to standards. Development of digital applications to standards will allow us to accelerate export of Russian products to international markets," Tatiana Santakova explained.
Teams' presentations were evaluated by industry experts - Alexey Abramov, Head of Rosstandart, Anton Pronin, Acting General Director of D.I.Mendeleyev Institute for Metrology, Alexander Barkov, First Deputy General Director of "STANDARTINFORM", Andrey Chelyshev, Head of SZMTU of Rosstandart, and Nikita Utkin, Russian Venture Company Program Manager, Chairman of the Technical Committee for Standardization "Cyber-Physical Systems" (TC 194).
"Rosstandart youth have proved that they understand the challenges of digital standardization and feel the trends of its development", - Alexander Barkov noted.
