On November 26-27, "STANDARTINFORM" took part in the 18th meeting of the Permanent Russian-Chinese Working Group on Standardization, Metrology, Certification and Inspection Control of the Sub-Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation, the Commission for the regular meetings preparation of the Heads of Russian and Chinese Governments, chaired by the Anton P. Shalaev, Deputy Head of Rosstandart and Tian Shihong, Deputy Minister of China's State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR).
On the Russian side, the meeting was attended by representatives of Rosstandart, the Ministry of Energy of Russia, Rosakkreditatsiya, The D.I. Mendeleev All-Russian Institute for Metrology (VNIIM) and other organizations. The Chinese delegation included more than 30 representatives of the Chinese Market Regulation Administration and experts of enterprises.
"STANDARTINFORM" was represented by Yulia S. Tufanova, Deputy Director of the International Cooperation Department.
The meeting was focused on the current state of industry interaction. In particular, the state in the field of conformity assessment of automotive products, in the field of standardization in the agricultural and food industries and on the metrological supply of energy resources. Both sides separately discussed procedures for further cooperation at the sites of international and regional standardization organizations such as the International Organization for Standardization (ISO), the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) and the association of BRICS countries.
The meeting participants discussed the implementation of the Agreement on granting national standards and cooperation in 2019. It was noted that in the difficult conditions associated with the pandemic, it was managed to build a very correct interaction between organizations providing standards. Representatives of the Chinese side highlighted that "truly painstaking and important work has been done for everyone".
