A joint meeting of the section "Standardization in the Electric Power Industry" of STC EAEU and the Secretariat of TC 016 "Electric Power Industry" on "On the evidence base of standards to ensure compliance with the requirements of the draft technical regulations EEC "On the Safety of High Voltage Equipment" was held on December 29, 2020.
The meeting was moderated by Yury G. Fedorov, Head of the Standardization Department of "SO UES" JSC, Executive Secretary of TC 016 "Electric Power Industry".
Aleksey Ivanov, Director of the Department for methodological standardization support of "STANDARTINFORM" was the keynote speaker. He disclosed the current state of formation the evidence base of the draft technical regulations and application features of the standards included in it, informed about the main provisions of the draft regulations and peculiarities of conformity assessment in the EEC.
"The draft standards development program in support of TR EEC "On safety of high voltage equipment" requires consideration in the relevant technical committees on standardization to take into account in the preparation of prospective programs of TC within the implementation of GOST R 1.1-2020" - said Alexey Ivanov, addressing the representatives of TC 016 "Electric Power Industry", TC 046 "Cable products" and TC 333 "Rotating Electrical Machines".
Standards developers, standardization experts, and representatives of specialized organizations took part in the discussion.
