          Results of the Scientific Internet Conference on Standardization

          "STANDARTINFORM" held the first scientific conference "Standardization and technical regulation: current state and prospects of development" for the first time on December last year.

          More than 80 participants from 34 scientific and educational organizations of Belarus (Vitebsk), Kazakhstan (Nur-Sultan, Alma-Ata) and Russia (Moscow, St. Petersburg, Sevastopol, Yaroslavl, Ukhta, Ivanovo, Murom, Nizhny Novgorod, Kostroma, Tyumen, Vladivostok) presented the articles devoted to economic problems, legal aspects, information support and prospects of standardization and technical regulation.

          "The main purpose of the conference was to give professionals, young scientists and experts an opportunity to talk about their vision of current problems in the field of standardization and technical regulation", - said a member of the organizing committee of the conference, Deputy Head of Research Information Support of Technical Regulation and Postgraduate Education Department of  "STANDARTINFORM", PhD in Economics Alexander V. Balvanovich.

          Almost half of the articles concerned the prospects for the development of standardization.

          The most active were the authors from Moscow - they provided 23 articles. Among them there are also employees of "STANDARTINFORM".

          Recommendations on the development of criteria for assessing the economic efficiency of standards to determine the priorities in their development, taking into account the needs of the market for specific products is the article of the Deputy Director General, Ph, Professor Lomakin, Head of the Research Department for Information Support of Technical Regulation and Postgraduate Education, Dr. Dokukin and Balvanovich, written with the participation of Dr. Mironov, Professor of the Mozhaisky Military Space Academy.

          Yuri V. Budkin, Deputy General Director, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor, and Alexander V. Knyazev, Head of the Department for Design and Technological Documentation and General Technical Systems of Standards, presented recommendations for the improvement of general technical systems of standards for schematic documentation.

          Conference materials (43 articles) were published in the scientific Internet journal "Information and economic aspects of standardization and technical regulation" № 6 (68).
