More than 300 new standards of national and interstate level came into force in January 2021. Including 9 documents on fire-fighting equipment.
GOST R 58716-2019, Fire equipment. Fire filter respirators for the protection of human breath and eyes for use at natural fire extinguishing in open spaces. General technical requirements. Test methods.
The air inhaled through such a respirator is purified in a special combined filter.
Depending on their design, fire-filtering respirators are made with a full-face part as well as with a half-mask to which protective goggles are attached.
The respirator kit can include one or two additional protective filters.
The filter protects the respiratory organs when exposed to carbon monoxide (CO), nitrogen dioxide (NO2), hydrogen cyanide, hydrogen chloride, ammonia and acrolein for at least 60 minutes.
The weight of the respirator must be no more than 1.2 kg, and the weight of its components that create a load on the head of the user - no more than 1.0 kg.
GOST R 58792-2019, Fire equipment. Mobile compression foam generation systems. General technical requirements. Test methods.
Compression foam generation system (CFGS) gets compression foam for firefighting from water, blowing agent and compressed air (or other inert gas).
Such systems come in cylinder and compressor type.
According to the document, the relative deviation of the dosing level of foaming agent from the specified one is not more than 20%. The maximum pressure in SCGP is not more than 1.6 MPa.
Design CFGS should also provide compressed air using its own compressor, which is part of the CFCS or from a cylinder of compressed air.
Life of CFGS before the first repair - not less than 600 hours. Maximum service life is at least 10 years.
CFGS is stored between minus 20 ° C to plus 50 ° C, with relative humidity up to 90%.
GOST R 52283-2019, Fire equipment. Fire-fighting centrifugal pumps. General technical requirements. Test methods, replaced the document of the same name fifteen years ago.
According to the standard, the centrifugal fire pumps of normal pressure provide supply of water and extinguishing solutions at the outlet pressure up to 2.0 MPa; high pressure - from 2.0 to 5.0 MPa.
Combined pumps consist of stages of normal and high pressure pumps connected in series and having a common drive.
The pumps shall be designed so that they can be disassembled and reassembled. It should include devices to ensure that water drains from the pump cavities.
The pump shaft can be turned freely by hand or with a special tool.
The water filling system must create a vacuum in the pump volume of not less than 0.08 MPa.
