STANDARDINFORM held an online meeting with Cryogenmash, Russia's largest manufacturer of air separation technologies and technical gas supply equipment, as well as a developer of integrated solutions for processing associated and liquefied natural gas.
The topics of discussion were the functioning, current composition and structure of TC 114 "Oxygen and Cryogenic Equipment", prospective plan for the development of standards committee, as well as the main objectives of future activities.
TC supervisory institute was created to assist technical committees on standardization to comply with the requirements of GOST R 1.1-2020, Standardization in the Russian Federation. Technical committees for standardization and project technical committees for standardization. Rules of organization and function, as well as other fundamental standards and rules of standardization on the basis of STANDARDINFORM.
STANDARDINFORM was represented at the meeting by: Alexander Barkov, First Deputy General Director, Gennady Vorobyov, Director of the Department, and employees of the Oil and Gas Engineering and Machine-Tool Engineering Department. Cryogenmash was represented by Denis Shipov, Director of the Research and Design Institute and Chief Designer, as well as department heads and specialists from the organization.
"Cryogenmash is a branch enterprise in the field of design and production of cryogenic equipment and a member of TC 114, therefore an exchange of opinions on further activities of the Committee and ways to improve its work on standardization is necessary and timely,"- Alexander Barkov noted.
"Taking into account the fact that the standards for oxygen and cryogenic equipment are being developed within the Program for Standardization of Technology and Equipment Development in Oil Refining, Petrochemistry, Processing and Liquefaction of Natural Gas, the active participation of Cryogenmash representatives in the activities of TC 114 seems not only reasonable, but also key to improve the efficiency of work", - Gennady Vorobyov expressed his opinion.
