Development of new and updating of existing standards for railway transport were discussed on February 18 at the annual meeting of the Technical Committee on Standardization № 045 "Railway Transport" (TC 045) via videoconferencing.
Opening the meeting, the Head of Rosstandart Anton Shalaev noted that TC 045 is traditionally among the leaders in the ranking of the effectiveness of technical committees for standardization and plays an important role in the development of the regulatory and technical framework necessary for the full functioning of the railway transport.
The main topic of the meeting was the summing up of the work of the technical committee in 2020 and determination of the work plans for 2021.
Valentin Gapanovich, TC 045 Chairman, in his report emphasized the strategic directions of the committee's activities. Among them - development of standards in the field of control systems of railway and rolling stock in automatic mode, creation of digital ecosystem for management of normative and technical documentation of railway products, as well as development of international relations in the field of standardization.
Gennady Vorobyev, Director of the Department of Mechanical Engineering, Electricity and Electrical Engineering of "Standardinform" as the curator of TC 045, told about the work of the technical committee, as well as new editions of the fundamental standards GOST R 1.1 and GOST R 1.2.
The parties discussed the prospects for experts of TC 045 to participate in international and European technical committees for standardization.
The most active participants of the technical committee in 2020 are representatives of Uralvagonzavod Concern, Transmashholding JSC and Sinara Transport Machines JSC, who were awarded merit certificates of the Federal Agency for Technical Regulation and Metrology and gratitude of the Federal Railway Transport Agency.
