On April 9, 2021, the first in-person meeting of this committee in the past few years took place at the site of the «Standartinform», the leading secretariat of the technical committee for standardization «Biotechnology» (TC 326).
Rosstandart order of February 20, 2021 No. 153 «On Amendments to the Order of the Federal Agency for Technical Regulation and Metrology No. 110 of January 26, 2018 «On the organization of the activity of the technical committee for standardization» Biotechnologies» marked the restart of the work of the technical committee with an updated structure and members, including in the leadership of TC 326.
Standardinform at the meeting of TC 326 was represented by: Director of the Department for Standardization of Materials and Technologies - E. Kostyleva and Head of the Department of Light, Food, Chemical Industry and Biotechnology - A. Maslova, executive secretary of TC 326.
В ходе заседания отмечены ключевые достижения в сфере биотехнологий, а также актуальные отраслевые стратегии, стимулирующие спрос на новые стандарты, затрагивающие, в частности развитие сельского хозяйства, парфюмерно-косметической отрасли, производство биополимеров.
During the meeting, key achievements in the field of biotechnology, as well as current industry strategies that stimulate demand for new standards, affecting, in particular, the development of agriculture, the perfumery and cosmetic industry, and the production of biopolymers were noted.
Particular attention is focused on the development of the FoodNet market, the subject of which is the formation of a globally competitive Russian Food Industry 4.0 - new production, logistics and sales solutions based on digitalization, network market models, customization of products and services, biotechnology and resource efficiency.
The meeting noted the importance of the participation of experts from TC 326 in the work of the International Technical Committee ISO / TC 276 «Biotechnology». During the meeting, a number of TC 326 members expressed their wishes to participate in individual working groups of ISO / TC 276. And a proposal was made to develop an international standard based on the best practices used in Russian practice.
