On April 16, 2021, Standardinform took part in a joint meeting of the Scientific and Technical Commission for Conformity Assessment and the Scientific and Technical Commission for Accreditation of the Interstate Council for Standardization, Metrology and Certification EASC of the CIS member states.
The extraordinary event was organized by the EASC Standards Bureau and was held online.
The draft of the Action Plan for the implementation of the EASC Development Strategy for the period up to 2030, prepared by the EASC Standards Bureau, taking into account the proposals of the national authorities of the EASC member states, was considered.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Republic of Moldova, the Russian Federation, the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Uzbekistan, as well as the Bureau for Standards of the EASC.
Standartinform in the delegation of the Russian Federation was represented by advisers to the General Director A. Barkov, Y. Budkin and Y. Butyrev.
During the meeting, the third section of the draft action plan «Single market and technical barriers (conformity assessment, accreditation, supervision)» was specified.
The discussed draft of the Action Plan for the implementation of the EASC Development Strategy for the period up to 2030 is planned to be submitted to the next meeting of the EASC, which is scheduled to be held in May-June 2021.
