On April 21, a working meeting was held between representatives of the Russian-German Chamber of Commerce and the German economy in Russia and the Rosstandart delegation led by the head of the department A. Shalaeva
The parties reached an understanding in areas of cooperation, as well as participation in events and meetings of working bodies. During the meeting, it was possible to quickly find a solution to specific problems faced by German companies in production activities in terms of standardization, metrology and certification. The head of Rosstandart outlined solutions and proposed interaction on an ongoing basis in order to create a favorable basis for investment in Russia using quality infrastructure tools.
The participants also discussed the issue of recognition CB of test protocols, which is relevant for both German and Russian manufacturers of electrical products, within the framework of the International Electrotechnical Commission system for confirming test results and certification of electrical equipment (IECEE). N. Fayzrakhmanov, technical expert of the IECEE System, spoke about the actions taken by the Russian side to determine the procedures for the recognition of test results in the CB system. The German colleagues noted that within the framework of the discussion on technical regulation with the EAEU at the AHK site, aimed at harmonizing legislation in the field of technical regulation, issues of recognition of the results of tests carried out in international certification systems for electrical equipment were also repeatedly raised.
The meeting was held in an open format of a productive dialogue between Rosstandart and representatives of German business.
