At the end of April, Standardinform took part in the tenth annual conference of metrologists «Topical issues of ensuring the uniformity of measurements in accounting and quality control of oil and oil products at the enterprises of Gazprom Neft».
The conference involved specialized specialists from the corporate center and subsidiaries of the Gazprom Neft group of companies: chief metrologists, heads of MRO departments for instrumentation / control systems, experts of the base organization of the metrological service, representatives of project offices, quality control specialists.
Deputy Chairman of the Technical Committee for Standardization «Petroleum Fuels and Lubricants» (TC 031), Head of the Metrology Sector of the Petrochemical Industry and Fuel and Energy Complex of the Federal State Unitary Enterprise «Standartinform» V. Kovalenko acted as an invited speaker at the plenary session and section on quality control of oil and oil products.
The plenary session addressed the issues of legal regulation of ensuring the uniformity of measurements, development and improvement of the «Arshin» system, import substitution of flow density converters and pycnometric installations, development of documents on standardization for products of the oil refining industry, creation of the Federal testing ground «Nedra»; and also provides information on the state primary standard of the unit of mass and on modern instrumental solutions for supporting the activities of companies in the oil and gas complex.
V. Kovalenko made a report «Development of documents on standardization for oil refining products: current state and development prospects».
The speaker provided information on the regulatory support of activities in the field of standardization, the current state of the fund of documents for the products of the oil refining industry, the prospects for its renewal, and also spoke about the planning of standardization work and the possibility of participation of representatives of oil and gas companies in this work.
The section of specialists for quality control of oil and oil products was devoted to the issues of issuing passports of quality of oil products, the release of armored fuel, confirmation of the accuracy of non-automatic scales when testing oil and oil products, the relevance of documents on standardization and development of new ones, the use of specialized equipment, as well as the requirements for competence of testing and calibration laboratories for oil and oil products.
The report of V. Kovalenko «The relevance of documents on standardization is the key to successful implementation of products on the market» was built on direct interaction with specialists.
Together with the audience, we were able to discuss a number of issues, including fuel testing methods and requirements for them, the development of documents based on international standards, as well as the measurement of mass and the introduction of standardization documents in the territory of the Russian Federation.
