136 national and interstate documents on standardization became effective in July.
There are GOSTs on cranes, standards on in vitro mammalian cell micronucleus test and determination of acute toxicity for daphnia among them.
We will elaborate on some of these documents.
GOST R 59296-2021 «Feeding flour of animal origin for non-productive animals» has become effective for the first time.
This standard is applied to the flour of animal origin from which animal feed for cats and dogs is produced (the flour itself is not dedicated for feeding purposes).
Feeding flour of animal origin is made from killing products (large cattle, bull, grunting ox, goats, pigs, horses, donkeys etc.) and birds (natatorial and terricole).
Flour can be divided into the following categories in dependence on raw materials: meat-and-bone meal tankage, meat meal and flour made from hydrolyzed feather.
Feeding flour should not contain wool, skin, blood, feather (except for flour produced from hydrolyzed feather), plant-based proteins and medical drugs according to the standard.
GOST 21915-2018 «Asphalt pavers. General specifications» replaced self-titled standard of 1993.
This standard is applied for self-propelled asphalt pavers which are dedicated for distribution and preliminary compaction of asphalt concrete mixtures during road surfacing and foundation.
Asphalt pavers can be the following ones- track-type and wheeled.
Asphalt paver can work not less than 10 moto hours without reloading.
According to this standard warranty operating life of an asphalt paver is 18 months since the moment of putting into operation. But warranty operating life should not exceed more than 20 months since the day of shipment of the equipment from the factory.
GOST 34704-2020 «Natural combustible gas. Determination of methane number» has been implemented for the first time.
This standard spreads to natural gas for combustion engines and sets the method for determination of methane number based on the well-known compositional breakdown.
Natural gas is a mixture of methane, nitrogen, carbonic oxide, sulfur-containing compounds and inerting gas.
Method that is presented in the standard is based on the researches of the Company AVL Deutschland GmbH that specializes on the development, modeling and trials of power units.
The method involves determination of methane number of natural gas according to the measured compositional breakdown by application of gas chromatography method.
The first stage of the method is the following-compositional breakdown of natural gas is simplified by its conversion to the compound including only methane, ethane, propane and butanes.
Than this simplified compound is divided into three-component mixtures. Initial values of methane number are calculated, parts of selected three-component mixtures are corrected and methane number of the simplified compound is determined as weighted average of methane numbers.
The final stage has the following procedure- methane number of gas motor fuel is calculated making allowance for the methane number of the simplified compound due to existence of nitrogen and carbonic oxide in the original composition of natural combustible gas.
