122 national and interstate standards came into force in the beginning of August. Among them there are series of documents on construction materials, mining equipment, automobile roads of general use, low voltage systems and documents on preservation of cultural heritage objects.
Now we will highlight some of the documents which came into effect for the first time.
GOST R 59589—2021 «Information technology. Biometrics. Guideline for slap tenprint fingerprintture». This document came into force for the first time. This standard contains description of the hardware of the biometric fingerprint scanner, its application, procedure for registration of fingerprint images; application software for developers and system integrators etc.
It is also stated in the standard that images of the highest quality should be as a result of fingerprint scanner.
Standard also sets the requirement for the feedback with the user which is executed by fixation of the monitor close to the scanner. Relevant software also should be installed.
It is necessary to receive the same number of separate fingerprints in the process of segmentation of original image during the registration of fingerprints of one or four fingers simultaneously.
Scanners for registration of images of the fingerprints of ten fingers can have function of control of correct position of fingers in the working surface.
GOST R 59440-2021 «Fire eguipment. Heat-shielding stationary screens. General technical requirements. Test methods». The document sets purpose indicators: the coefficient of attenuation of the heat flow at which the operability will remain unchanged, the maximum density of the heat flow, time of protective action at the maximum flow density, time of bringing the screen into operation; weight, overall dimensions, rotation angles of stationary and manual fire-hose barrels.
Standard sets reliability indices: operating life is not less than 10 years and storage life is not less than 1 year from the moment of release of the screen by the manufacturing plant.
GOST R 9-603-2021 «Unified system of corrosion and ageing protection. Еlectrochemical protection. Electrical isolating joints. General specifications»
This standard applies to inserts (couplings) with a nominal diameter from 6 to 1400 DN (nominal internal diameter) with an excess pressure of the transported medium from 0.005 to 40.0 MPa designed for electrical disconnection of new, reconstructed ground (in the embankment), aboveground, underground and underwater (with deepening into the bottom) pipelines.
