FSBI «RST» took part in the 7th session of the Russian-Slovak Working group on cooperation in the field of standardization, metrology and conformity assessment of the Intergovernmental Commission on Economic, Scientific, and Technical Cooperation between the Slovak Republic and the Russian Federation on the 27th of September 2021. FSBI «RST» participated in this event as part of GOST R delegation.
Matter of cooperation in the field of standardization became the main topic for discussion during the session. Russian Colleagues told about the changes in national standardization system of the Russian Federation. Slovak Colleagues informed about the current situation in national standardization system in the Slovak Republic.
Draft Agreement on cooperation in terms of reproduction and distribution of Slovak technical standards, Slovak technical data on standardization, documents of national standardization system of the Russian Federation between the Slovak Office of Standards, Metrology and Testing (UNMS) and FSBI «RST» was discussed thoroughly.
Director of the Department of International Cooperation of FSBI «RST» Julia Tufanova represented the organization during this session. Julia Tufanova highlighted that Agreement was bilateral and it covered matter of distribution of national standards. Russian Federation expressed hopes that modified draft Agreement would be signed in the nearest future.
