Draft strategy of the development of the Russian Standardization Institute (FSBI «RST») was approved for the medium term by the GOST R Council on Standardization chaired by the Head of GOST R Anton Shalaev.
During the extended session of the GOST R Council on Standardization Acting Director General of FSBI «RST» Konstantin Leonidov pointed out that Russian Standardization Institute should become one of the main important elements of transformation of the standardization system in the Russian Federation, key organizer and infrastructure unit of communication with the participants in standardization works during the whole cycle of the development of the documents. Konstantin Leonidov also highlighted that this strategy aimed at effective implementation of the above-mentioned task.
Strategic aim of the Russian Standardization Institute is transition to the ecosystem of standardization: implementing the best practices and scientifically based technologies of analysis, development, distribution and application of the documents on standardization, guarantee of an involvement of all stakeholders in the development of standards on a non-discriminatory basis, ensuring coordinated interaction of participants in standardization activities within the framework of implementing the programs for the socio-economic development of the country, offering a customer-oriented system of information support for standardization.
Russian Standardization Institute is planning to take part in the development of a methodology of use of digital documents on standardization in particular in the preparation of a draft fundamental national standard of the Russian Federation specifying general provisions and classification of digital standards.
Draft Program of national standardization system for 2022 was also discussed in the course of the session of the GOST R Council on Standardization.
