Russian Standardization Institute (FSBI «RST») participated in the 8th session of Working group on organization of the activities of interstate technical committees and in the 62nd session of the Scientific and Technical Commission for Standardization of the Euro-Asian Council for Standardization, Metrology and Certification (EASC) on the 27-28th of October 2021 as part of GOST R delegation.
These events were organized by the EASC Bureau of Standards and they were held in the format of video conference.
Representatives of 8 national bodies on standardization of the CIS States-Members ( Republic of Azerbaijan, Republic of Armenia, Republic of Belarus, Republic of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, Republic of Moldova, Russian Federation, Republic of Uzbekistan), representatives of the CIS Executive Committee and the EASC Bureau of Standards examined 30 matters of the agenda of the sessions and accepted the coordinated decisions on these matters.
GOST R delegation was led by the Head Anton Shalaev.
Russian Standardization Institute (FSBI «RST») was represented by the Deputy Director General Alexey Ivanov, Advisors to the Director General Yury Budkin and Yury Butyrev, Director of the Department of Standardization of Materials and Technologies Elena Kostyleva and Director of the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Digital Technologies Gennady Vorobyev.
Suggestions on the establishment of two new interstate technical committees on standardization «Toys and goods for children», «Goods of organic production», recommendations in terms of integration of the series of interstate technical committees on standardization, changes in their names were coordinated in the framework of the 8th session of Working group on organization of the activities of interstate technical committees. Participants of this session also considered suggestions on the improvement of the efficiency of the activities of interstate technical committees.
Discussions in terms of implementation of the Program of interstate standardization for 2019-2021 were carried out in the framework of the session of the 62nd session of the EASC Scientific and Technical Commission for Standardization.
Matter concerning coordination of suggestions on the establishment of the Program of interstate standardization for 2022-2023 has also been covered. Lists of the documents on interstate standardization (adopted based on voting), their edition and reissuing, revision and cancellation were considered.
Cooperation between the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and the EASC was discussed during the session. Finalized draft Agreement on cooperation between ISO and EASC was coordinated in accordance with the comments of national standardization bodies.
It is planned to carry out next sessions in March- April 2022.
