Russian Standardization Institute (FSBI «RST») took part in the 19th session of Permanent Russian-Chinese Working Group on Standardization, Metrology, Certification and Inspection Control of the Sub-Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation of the Commission on Preparation of Regular Meetings of the Heads of Russian and Chinese Governments. This meeting was carried out in the format of videoconference on the 25th of November 2021 and on the 1st of December 2021. Session on the 25th of November 2021 was held under the chairmanship of the Head of the Department of Administration and External Relations of the Federal Agency on Technical Regulating and Metrology (GOST R) Maria Pishchulina while second day of the session was conducted under the leadership of CEO of the Federal Agency on Technical Regulating and Metrology (GOST R) Anton Shalaev and Deputy Minister of the State Administration for Market Regulation of P. R. China (SAMR) Chun Pu.
Director of the International Cooperation Department of FSBI «RST» Julia Tufanova told about main principles of forming and maintaining the Federal Information Collection of Standards and made special accent on the matters of provision of the documents of the Federal Information Collection of Standards during the course of the session on the 25th of November 2021. She focused on progress of the implementation of an Agreement on cooperation between Russian Standardization Institute (FSBI «RST») and Standardization Administration of China (SAC).
On the Russian side this meeting was attended by the following representatives: Federal Agency on Technical Regulating and Metrology (GOST R), Ministry of Energy of Russia, Federal Service for Accreditation (Rusaccreditation), Russian Standardization Institute (FSBI «RST»), Federal State Autonomous Educational Institution on Further Vocational Training «Academy for Standardization, Metrology and Certification (Educational)» (ASMS), Federal State Budget Scientific Institution «The Federal Scientific Center for Food Systems named after V. M. Gorbatov» of the Russian Academy of Sciences and representatives of other organizations.
Chinese delegation included more than 30 representatives of the Chinese Market Regulation Administration and experts from the enterprises.
Despite the continuation of global coronavirus pandemic 2021 has become the most fruitful year in the twenty-year history of cooperation between two countries in the field of quality infrastructure. This year the Parties held a number of industry events and fundamental decisions were reached as a result. Thus the Parties exchanged information on certification requirements for electric vehicles and intelligent vehicles, informed each other about the practice of carrying out of remote conformity assessment in the context of a coronavirus pandemic, cooperated in the development of standards for aviation equipment, coals and feed, organized comparisons on determination of the sulfur and moisture content in oil and petroleum products. The Parties also discussed the procedures for further cooperation at the venues of international and regional organizations for standardization such as International Organization for Standardization (ISO), International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) and the BRICS Cooperatives.
