Russian Standardization Institute (FSBI «RST») took part in the 5th International Conference «CHERMETSTANDART-2021. Relevant standardization matters» on December 2, 2021.
This event was devoted to the discussion of problems and achievements of standardization in iron and steel industry in order to bring the production to a higher quality level.
Director of the Department of Forming and Maintaining Information Resources of FSBI «RST» Evgeny Makoveev performed during the plenary session of the conference. Relevant matters of standardization, technical regulation and improving quality of national metal goods were covered during the course of this plenary meeting.
The topic of the report «Registration of standards of organizations including technical specifications in the Federal Information Collection of Standards» is vitally relevant and important nowadays due to incorporated amendments to the Federal Law «On Standardization in the Russian Federation». These amendments in the Federal Law made registration in the Federal Information Collection of Standards possible.
Evgeny Makoveev told about the activities of FSBI «RST» and elaborated on the adopted normative and legal acts that were approved by the Federal Agency on Technical Regulating and Metrology (GOST R) and by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation for the purposes of implementation of incorporated amendments to the Federal Law «On Standardization in the Russian Federation».
The speaker paid special attention to the procedure of registration of standards of organizations including technical specifications in the Federal Information Collection of Standards, covered historical aspects of this matter and told about the procedure and benefits for the developers and owners of standards of organizations and technical specifications.
Anton Liske, Head of the Department of Mining and Metallurgical Industry, Forestry Engineering Complex, Construction Materials of FSBI «RST» performed during the session «Practice of Application of Standards in Ferrous Industry».
Anton Liske presented the report «Main Functions of the Russian Standardization Institute» that covered detailed information on the establishment of FSBI «RST», its competences and objectives. He also elaborated on the matter of curatorship of technical committees on standardization (TC) executed by FSBI «RST», told about new competences of technical committees due to incorporated amendments to the Federal Law «On Standardization in the Russian Federation» and paid special attention to new kind of documents on standardization- technical specifications (reports).
