Joint session of the section «Standardization in electric power industry» of the Scientific and Technical Council of the Unified Energy System and secretariat of technical committee on standardization «Electric power industry» ( TC 016) was held on the 24th of December 2021.
Topic «Digitalization and standardization in electric power industry (Russian and international experience)» was discussed during the event in the format of video conference.
Agenda of the session included three core blocks of questions: review of main fields of digitalization in electric power industry, experience of international organizations on standardization in the field of digitalization and development of standardization tools in digital format in the Russian Federation.
Deputy Director General of FSBI «RST» Alexey Ivanov performed with the report «New standardization tools for the purposes of addressing the challenges of digital transformation». He focused on main events that were held in 2021 in the field of digitalization of national standardization system and told about the tools which were developed and were widely used.
Alexey Ivanov noted that implementation and incorporation of national standards in digital formats into standardization system would enable to solve series of objectives and apply qualitatively new approaches of application of standards in electric power sector which had significant potential for further implementation of SMART technologies.
More than 50 representatives of energetic companies - members of TC 016 participated in the session.
