World Energy Efficiency Day is traditionally celebrated every year on March 5. Now we will elaborate on new standards that came into force on the1st of March 2022 in connection with this holiday.
GOST R 59726-2021 «Complete and mast transformer substations, electric distribution points for railway non-tractive consumers power supply. General specifications» has come into force for the first time.
Current standard is distributed on electrical substations of single-phase and three-phase alternating current with a high voltage varying from 6 to 35 kW. This document also covers distribution points of three-phase alternating current with nominal voltage varying from 6 to 35 kW.
Substations are divided into complete and mast ones according to this document. Transformers are divided into single-phase and three-phase ones in terms of the number of phases of the applied potential transformers on these substations according to current document.
Values of a high voltage, highest operational voltage of substations and nominal voltage of main circuit of distribution points are applied in the table stated in standard. For instance, with a value of 10 Kw of a high voltage of the substation and the nominal voltage of the main circuit of the distribution point, its maximum operating voltage is 7.2 Kw.
Nominal lowest voltage of substations with single-phase transformers should be the following- 220 V is devoted for power supply of signal installations of automatic lockings and other equipment of railway automatics and teleautomatics, 230 V- for equipment dedicated for power supply of other consumers.
GOST R 59461-2021 «Nanomanufacturing. Key control characteristics. Part 4-2. Cathode nanomaterials for electrical energy storage. Determination of density»
A cathodic material is considered to be a material containing a fraction of nanomaterials and used as a cathode in a nanotechnological equipment for storing electrical energy. Its functional or operational characteristics are achieved by nanotechnologies.
The selected sample of a given mass is placed into a die than it is put on the middle of a press. The pressure on the plunger of the die is smoothly adjusted to the given values and it is maintained during a stipulated time then the resulting sample is extracted in the form of a cylinder and its height is measured. The density after compaction is calculated by dividing the mass of the sample by the volume of the compacted sample.
Customer can make a decision on an applicability of the cathode nanomaterial for the use on the base of the results received by this method.
GOST R 59565-2021 «Nanomanufacturing. Key control characteristics. Part 4-3. Electrode nanomaterials for electric energy storage devices. Determination of electrical resistance»
Test method for measuring the contact resistance and coating resistance of nanomaterials makes it possible to decide whether the composite material is suitable for coating and it allows choosing the best coating combinations and manufacturing technologies suitable for their application.
Is is needed to measure the thickness of the substrate and an electrode to calculate the electrical resistance. Insulating substrate should be measured with a micrometer before coating.
