133 new standards came into force in the beginning of April 2022 in the Russian Federation.
There are a group of interstate standards for cereals (technical specifications), heating boilers, gas heaters with forced convection for heating of buildings (domestic and non-domestic purposes), trunk pipeline transport of oil and petroleum products, devices printing in Braille script and others among the above-mentioned documents.
Now we will elaborate on several documents that have come into force for the first time.
GOST R 59634-2021 «Snow safety systems. General specifications» is distributed on the systems of snow safety of pitch roofs.
This standard sets the classification, functional requirements to snow safety fences and fastenings dedicated to the prevention of uncontrolled snow falling from the roofs. Current standard also provides its Customers with test methods.
Elements of the snow safety system for the roofs should be manufactured of the metal resistant to the corrosion, atmospheric and climatic impacts during the whole life cycle according to the document. Materials should not have any defects and foreign inclusions that can worsen the loading-carrying ability. Separate elements of snow safety systems can be manufactured of other materials.
GOST R 59778-2021 «Procedures for taking samples of venous and capillary blood for laboratory tests»
Procedures described in the standard guarantees the proper security level of the patient and quality of the provided medical care. These procedures can be applied only while using the close system of venous blood taking (a container - the system in which the cover of the vial is not open during the whole process of blood taking). Current standard does not have any instructions concerning blood taking using open systems such as needles and medical syringes.
Standard describes peculiarities of preventive actions concerning infections and it pays special attention to the process of identification of the patient. For instance, there is special instruction while carrying out of the bloodletting. It is the duration of application of the tourniquet for the purposes of visualization of the vein. Its duration should not last longer than 1 minute according to the standard.
