Eighty-three national and interstate documents on standardization became effective in May 2022.
Now we will elaborate on some of them more thoroughly.
GOST 6799-2021 “Glass articles for furniture. Specifications” has been developed for replacement of the self-titled document of 2005.
Current standard specifies goods from glass as dedicated for manufacturing and batching of the furniture. This document also sets the term open edge.
GOST 6799-2021 also provides classification of the goods according to various parameters such as form, flection and color.
Color of painted goods should be in line with the control sample that was coordinated between the manufacturer and the customer. Pictures can be put on glass articles using different techniques such as silkscreen printing, engraving and etching.
Articles that are used in the furniture in a horizontal position (for example, shelves, tabletops, etc.) must withstand the maximum static load which is indicated in supply contracts or other documentation agreed by the manufacturer and the customer. Maximum static load for the articles that are used in the furniture in a horizontal position can also be set in normative documents on furniture products for which these articles are intended. Surfaces of the goods must be cleaned of the grease, dirt, oil, dust and debris.
GOST R 70060-2022 “Automobile roads of general use. Geosynthetic materials. Method for determination of durability indicators” has become effective for the first time.
GOST R 70060-2022 defines the durability of geosynthetic material as its ability to withstand the effects of weather, mechanical, chemical, biological and other influencing factors during the operational life of a road structure to ensure design strength characteristics that are required by the project.
Current documents contains the formula for determination of durability indicators of geosynthetic material that characterizes the strength after exposure to factors that depend on the scope of application of geosynthetic material which is calculated for the long side and short side directions.
Current document describes eight test methods on durability and it contains safety requirements and requirements for environment protection.
GOST R 59690-2021 “Materials and accessories for stretch ceilings. General specifications” has been implemented for the first time and it sets classification and technical requirements to the materials and elements that are included in the package of stretch ceilings which are used as a fit-out inside buildings with a relative humidity of no more than 75% both during the process of making new constructions, reconstructions and repair works of buildings of various purposes, different degrees of fire resistance and functional fire hazard classes.
GOST R 59690-2021 sets twenty-two terms such as stretch ceilings etc.
Stretch ceilings are classified according to the material, translucency, color and structure of the sheet, way of fixation of the sheet and design solutions. Stretch ceilings can be multilevel, carved and ceilings of non-standard shape depending upon the design solution.
