Russian Standardization Institute (FSBI “RST”) took part in the conference that coincided with an anniversary of the D.I. Mendeleev All-Russian Institute for Metrology (VNIIM) which was a subordinated organization of the Federal Agency on Technical Regulating and Metrology (GOST R). Russian Standardization Institute joined in congratulating of VNIIM with its 180th anniversary.
180 years from the day of foundation of the D.I. Mendeleev All-Russian Institute for Metrology has been celebrated in 2022. VNIIM is the first state metrological organization in the Russian Federation.
Research and training conference of young scientists and specialists “The future belongs to us” has been conducted in VNIIM for the first time. Current conference gathered more than 100 young specialists in the field of standardization and metrology in the format of face-to-face meeting.
Director General of the Russian Standardization Institute Denis Mironov performed during the opening day of the conference and told about the course of the development of the concept of digital transformation in standardization.
Presentation of this concept is planned in the framework of an annual International Technological Forum “Russian Standards Week” which will be held in October 2022 in Saint Petersburg.
Denis Mironov noted that development of unique information system in the field of standardization would enable to create modern depository of official documents and build effective systems of distribution and development of standards by exercising digitalization of the whole life cycle of the document on standardization.
Director General of the Russian Standardization Institute highlighted that implementation of digital transformation in the field of standardization would enable to increase efficiency of obtaining and using of the data from the documents on standardization for the customers. Digital transformation will help the developers to achieve transparency of the process of the development and receive prompt feedback from the customers.
