As part of GOST R delegation Russian Standardization Institute took part in the working session of representatives of seven States - Members of the Euro-Asian Interstate Council for Standardization, Metrology and Certification (EASC) of the States-CIS Members on June 15, 2022.
The topic of the working session was devoted to the examination of the opportunity of publication or withdrawal of unpublished documents on interstate standardization.
Current EASC working session was organized by the EASC Bureau of Standards according to the Decision of the 63rd session of the EASC Scientific and Technical Commission for Standardization.
Deputy Director General of the Russian Standardization Institute Alexey Ivanov informed on the opportunities of publication of the documents on interstate standardization which had been developed by the Russian Federation and approved by the EASC.
Decisions on publication or withdrawal have been taken in terms of the majority of the documents. As for the rest of the documents additional examination on feasibility of their publication will be carried out. Unpublished GOSTs were specified during the session and they would be included in the list of the documents on interstate standardization submitted for withdrawal during the next 61st EASC session on July 2022.
EASC working session was held in the format of videoconference. Representatives of national bodies on standardization such as the Republic of Azerbaijan, Republic of Armenia, Republic of Belarus, Republic of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyz Republic, Russian Federation, Republic of Tajikistan, Republic of Uzbekistan and representatives of the EASC Bureau of Standards participated in this working session.
Russian Standardization Institute was presented by the Deputy Director General Alexey Ivanov, Advisor to the Director General Yury Butyrev, Director of the Department of Machine Building and Digital Technologies Gennadiy Vorobyev, Director of the Department of Standardization of Materials and Technologies Elena Kostyleva and Director of the Department of Printed and Electronic Publications Veronika Smolskaya.
