One hundred seventy eight standards became effective in July 2022.
There are documents on physical culture and sport among them. Now we will elaborate on these documents in more detail.
GOST R 52025-2021 “Physical culture, health-improvement and sport services. Requirements for consumers’ safety” replaced the self-named standard of 2003.
Current standard prescribes to comply with the rules of operation of recreation and sports facilities as well as to provide services only by the qualified personnel to reduce the risk of injury.
GOST R 55670-2021 “Sports mats. Methods for determination of shock absorption” has replaced the standard of 2013 and it describes test methods for determining damping properties of sport mats of different types.
A whole sport mat is used as a test sample that is laid on a flat solid concrete base with a size of at least 1 × 1 m.
GOST R 56433-2021 “Equipment for sports games. Volleyball equipment. Requirements and test methods” replaces the standard of 2015 and sets functional characteristics and safety requirements for volleyball equipment.
GOST R 56433-2021 provides description of the materials and design of the equipment (post, net, antenna, ground sockets) and safety requirements for their use.
GOST R 56902-2021 “Strength training equipment. Elliptical trainers. Additional specific safety requirements and test methods” replaces the standard of 2016. Current document provides safety requirements of elliptical trainers.
Trainers of class H that are used in the grounds of free access and in home should bear 12 000 operation cycles. Trainers of class S (professional or commercial use) should bear 100 000 operation cycles.
