Session of the Research and Technology Board of the Russian Standardization Institute was held on August 22, 2022.
Adviser Director General of the Russian Standardization Institute Iosif Aronov performed with the below-mentioned report: “Expert evaluation of the implementation of mandatory conformity assessment of the goods before entering into force of technical regulations of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) concerning the state of the relations in various fields of industry and development of the proposals concerning integration of new types of the goods into the unified list of the goods subject to mandatory certification and unified list of the goods subject to declaration of conformity”.
Iosif Aronov pointed out that standards should meet certain requirements for the purposes of ensuring suitability of standards for their use in the mechanism of references in the unified list of the goods.
Assistant Professor of the Department of Machine Science, Design, Standardization and Certification of the Russian University of Transport (MIIT) Alexey Barykin made a speech during the session. His report was devoted to the following topic: “Preparation of the amendments to the Rules for granting subsidies for the development of national, interstate and international standards” and it covered a particularly important issue. Provision of the conditions for creation of a flexible and forward-looking standardization system in the Russian Federation is the purpose of making these amendments.
Members of the Research and Technology Board of the Russian Standardization Institute prepared further plan of cooperation on the covered issues.
