The International Technological Forum “Russian Standards Week” will be held in the Boris Yeltsin Presidential Library in Saint Petersburg during October 12-14, 2022. This event traditionally coincides with the World Standards Day.
The Boris Yeltsin Presidential Library annually becomes a platform for discussions of various topics such as trends of the development of international, regional and national standardization, relevant directions of the development of standards, new challenges and practices of the activities on technical regulation, tools and opportunities in the field of standardization since 2019.
More than 600 participants have registered to take part in the International Technological Forum “Russian Standards Week”. There are representatives of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, Russian Quality Organization, Russian Quality System, Federal Service for Accreditation (RusAccreditation), international and foreign organizations on standardization etc. who will participate in this event.
Standardization for technological development will become the main topic for the discussion during the International Technological Forum.
The “Russian Standards Week” will cover the below-mentioned key issues:
- Standards for digital industry;
- Restart of National Certification System;
- Standardization and sustainable development;
- Practical application of international and national standards in the field of management systems;
- Standardization in the field of alternative plant-based foodstuffs;
Solemn ceremony of presenting the Award “Standardizer of the year” will be held during the Forum.
Federal Agency on Technical Regulating and Metrology (GOST R) acts as an organizer of the International Technological Forum “Russian Standards Week”.
