          The General Assembly of the Standards and Metrology Institute for Islamic Countries (SMIIC)

          Istanbul, Turkey, 23rd of November 2022 – The General Assembly of the Standards and Metrology Institute for Islamic Countries (SMIIC) gathered the delegations of national bodies on standardization of the 46 States.  The Russian Federation participated in the SMIIC GA for the first time and it received the Status of the Observer in SMIIC at the end of 2019. The Russian Delegation was headed by the CEO of the Federal Agency on Technical Regulating and Metrology (GOST R) Anton Shalaev. The GOST R Delegation was also presented by the employees of the GOST R Central Office and Deputy Director General of the Russian Standardization Institute Alexey Ivanov.
