Current event was held on April 24-26, 2023 in Tashkent and it was organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation and Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Key tasks of “INNOPROM-2023” were the following- facilitation in promoting the most modern technologies and the developments in the field of industry, establishing contacts between industrial enterprises of friendly countries.
Director of the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Digital Technologies of the Russian Standardization Institute Gennady Vorobyev performed with the report in the framework of the Round Table of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Region “Implementing innovations to improve the efficiency of fuel and gas complex” by the invitation of the Trade Delegation of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Gennady Vorobyev told about use of standardization as a tool of transfer of innovations and he elaborated on new directions of activities of the Russian Standardization Institute such as forming the Competence Center in the field of technical regulation, carrying out activities in the field of import substitution etc.
He highlighted the increasing role of standards that were considered as publicly available tools for preserving and transmitting the results of research and development works, design and development activities.
Gennady Vorobyev drew special attention to the trend of involvement of business structures in standardization activities. For instance, more than half of all standards were developed on the initiative and at the expense of business sector last year.
More than 5000 delegates, 300 foreign companies, business representatives and government institutions of the Commonwealth of Independent States, France, Italy, Netherlands, India, Singapore, China, Japan, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Turkey and Turkmenistan participated in the exhibition “INNOPROM-2023”.
