Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation and Federal Agency on Technical Regulating and Metrology (GOST R) have approved the Perspective Standardization Program aimed at the development of additive technologies industry in the Russian Federation during 2023-2030 in the framework of implementation of the Strategy of the development of additive technologies in the Russian Federation for the period until 2023.
The following tasks will be covered during the implementation of the Perspective Standardization Program:
- improving technical characteristics and security characteristics of additive equipment;
- improving the quality of goods;
- harmonization of the requirements of the documents of national standardization system with international practices etc.
There are more than 50 GOSTs in this field in the Russian Federation nowadays.
Perspective Standardization Program has been developed on 7 main directions and it contains 57 new standards.
CEO of GOST R Anton Shalaev pointed out that standardization would serve as a driver for the development of additive technologies industry ensuring effective implementation of new technologies in production, development of import substitution, building a competitive industry and access to external markets.
