The XVII International Conference “NEFTEGAZSTANDART” was devoted to the issue of development of technical regulation in oil and gas sector in current realities. This event was conducted in Volgograd. The All-Russian Conference “NEFTEGAZSTANDART” gathered leading experts to discuss effective ways of addressing the development of technical regulation in oil and gas sector.
Heads of oil and gas organizations, representatives of federal and regional authorities, heads of standardization bodies of the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union and leading experts of the largest international and Russian oil and gas companies discussed relevant issues of current state of technical regulation and standardization system, intersectoral interaction of technical committees on standardization in the interests of oil and gas industry enterprises in the framework of this Conference that was organized annually in various regions of Russia. The Conference is traditionally attended by the GOST R delegation headed by its CEO Anton Shalaev.
During the main plenary session, Anton Shalaev highlighted in his report that strengthening technological sovereignty was one of key tasks of the Russian Federation nowadays. He also pointed out that use of standards not only allowed for effective support of innovative technologies but also contributed to rapid and effective implementation of technologies that were not widely used in the Russian Federation, thereby ensuring forming technological sovereignty and laying a stable foundation for industrial development.
Director General of the Russian Standardization Institute Denis Mironov told about digitalization of standardization system in the framework of the plenary session. Rector of the Federal State Autonomous Educational Institution of Additional Professional Education “Academy of Standardization, Metrology and Certification (training)” Alexander Zazhigalkin performed with the report on relevant issues of personnel training in the field of quality infrastructure.
Participants also covered the issues of conformity assessment in oil and gas complex, use of digital standards in the activities of industrial companies, harmonization of requirements with the requirements of international standards as the main mechanism of import substitution in oil and gas complex, conformity assessment of oil and gas equipment with the requirements of technical regulations of the Eurasian Economic Union etc.
An open session of technical committee on standardization 023 "Oil and gas industry" (TC 023) was held during the second day of the Conference. Deputy Director General of the Russian Standardization Institute Alexey Ivanov presented the report "Practice and prospects of using standards of organizations registered in the Federal Information Collection of Standards in procurement, design and certification activities". Participants also listed to the report of TC 023 secretariat on progress of the activities on national, interstate and international standardization and discussed relevant matters devoted to current activities of TC 023.
