The Ceremony of signing the Agreement on cooperation between the Russian Standardization Institute and the D. I. Mendeleev Russian University of Chemical Technology was held on February 13, 2024 in the framework of the Forum of Future Technologies. Forum of Future Technologies is a key event for presentation of the advanced solutions and technologies.
The document was signed by the Director General of the Russian Standardization Institute Denis Mironov and the Acting Rector of the D. I. Mendeleev Russian University of Chemical Technology Ilya Vorotyntsev.
Current Agreement is aimed at strengthening the cooperation between the organizations, improving the quality of highly qualified scientific personnel training and integrating efforts during carrying out scientific researches, exchange of experience and skills between the scientists of various fields of science and education.
The possibility of creating the joined Dissertation Council at the premises of the Russian Standardization Institute and the D. I. Mendeleev Russian University of Chemical Technology is being discussed within the signed Agreement. The Dissertation Council will deal with defense of dissertations for Candidate and Doctorate degrees in the field of quality management and standardization (technical sciences). Such approach will ensure greater availability and transparency of dissertations defense procedure for all interested parties.
Director General of the Russian Standardization Institute Denis Mironov noted that signature of this Agreement was an important milestone in the development of the scientific attestation system and improving the quality of personnel training.
He also highlighted that creating the joined Dissertation Council would help to enhance scientific cooperation with the D. I. Mendeleev Russian University of Chemical Technology in the future.
Acting Rector of the D. I. Mendeleev Russian University of Chemical Technology Ilya Vorotyntsev pointed out that specialists of the D. I. Mendeleev Russian University of Chemical Technology had high level of competences in the field of technical sciences and vast experience of participation in various Dissertation Councils. Ilya Vorotyntsev said that this would allow receiving the maximum benefit not only for the representatives of the scientific community but also for the Russian Federation in cooperation with the Russian Institute of Standardization.
