2nd Scientific and Practical Conference "Standardization – trajectory of science" that is devoted to the centenary of foundation of the Publishing House of the People's Commissariat of the Workers'-Peasants' Inspectorate organization, the predecessor of the Russian Standardization Institute, will be held on December 17-19, 2024 in the Russian Standardization Institute.
The conference will become a unique space for discussing topical issues in the field of standardization, science, sharing best practices and establishing contacts between the professional community. The event will bring together more than 200 representatives among leading experts, scientists, heads of state authorities, industrial enterprises, students and postgraduates of specialized areas in the field of standardization from Russia and abroad.
14th session of the Council of Heads of State (National) Standardization Authorities of the EAEU Member States with the participation of the GOST R CEO Anton Shalaev will be held on December 17, 2024 within the program of events.
“The centenary of our institute is not only a significant historical milestone but also a starting point for new scientific discoveries and breakthrough innovations in the field of standardization. The conference "Standardization - trajectory of science" will become a platform for presenting the results of scientific research, exchanging accumulated experience and determining strategic development vectors based on advanced achievements. We will determine the priorities that will shape the future of standardization,” noted Director General of the Russian Standardization Institute Denis Mironov.
The conference program includes strategic session dedicated to the centenary of the Russian Standardization Institute, sectional reports, session of the Dissertation Council of the Russian Standardization Institute and defense of theses for the degree of Сandidate of science. Within the framework of the conference, participants will discuss the following topics during the sessions: "Role of the Russian Standardization Institute in scientific and technological progress", "Current and promising tasks of applying national standards in the Russian Federation", "Innovative approaches and technologies in standardization", "Creation and implementation of digital standardization document", "Scientific experience and practical solutions for converting standards into machine-readable form", "International cooperation in the field of standardization", "Quality infrastructure of the economy as a mirror of export potential" etc. All materials presented by the participants will be collected in a single collection of the magazine "Information and Economic Aspects of Standardization and Technical Regulation" edited by the Supreme Attestation Commission of the Russian Federation.
