Series of events in the framework of the GOST R Doors Open Day has started. Students from the Gubkin University visited the Russian Standardization Institute today.
Students got acquainted with main directions of activities of the Russian Standardization Institute, learnt about technical regulation and standardization system in the Russian Federation and also about the activities of the Council of young scientists and specialists “GOST R Technospetsnaz”.
Federal Information Collection of Standards attracted interest among the students. They were able to see the way standards were stored and how standards search system worked, learned about the possibilities of using the database, digital format of standards and asked questions about the importance of standards in modern industry.
Students also had an opportunity to discuss career issues, internships and work prospects in the field of standardization with the representatives of the Russian Standardization Institute.
Representatives of the Russian Standardization Institute noted that such events were important for attracting talented young professionals and strengthening ties between educational institutions and employers.
