A meeting of the special working group on standardization within the framework of the Russian-Chinese Subcommittee on Cooperation in the field of civil Aviation and civil aircraft Industry was held in China. The meeting was co-chaired by the head of Rosstandart (https://t.me/rosstandartgost/2691 ) Anton Shalaev and Deputy Head of Innovation Standards Management at the State Administration for Market Regulation of the People's Republic of China, Chengguan Guo.
On the Russian side, the meeting was attended by representatives of the central office of Rosstandart, the Russian Standardization Institute, the Zhukovsky Research Center, Russian Helicopters JSC, TsAGI FAA, NCV Mil and Kamov JSC, and the Yakovlev branch of PJSC Regional Aircraft. Experts from such organizations as COMAC, AVIC, the Chinese Aero-Polytechnic Institute (CAPE) and other scientific research and industrial enterprises in the field of aircraft construction took part in the meeting from the Chinese side.
During the meeting, the parties summed up the results of joint work in key areas. The discussion focused on the implementation of a Roadmap for the standardization of civil aircraft, progress in the development of standards for the helicopter industry, and up-to-date information on cooperation within international standardization organizations. In addition, the participants agreed on a technical report prepared jointly by Russian and Chinese experts on the application of SMART standards in aircraft manufacturing companies.
The landmark outcome of the meeting was the expansion of the List of Mutually applicable aviation standards: it includes an additional 55 Russian national and Chinese state standards, increasing the total number of documents to more than 300.
It should be recalled that the main purpose of cooperation within the working group is to develop standardization issues to support the successful implementation of joint Russian-Chinese projects in the civil aircraft industry, and its key task is to develop a mechanism for the exchange, mutual recognition and joint development of standardization documents between the Russian Federation and the People's Republic of China.
The site of the special working group on standardization continues to demonstrate its effectiveness in the development of bilateral cooperation and has largely become an example for the implementation of similar cooperation in the field of standardization in other industries of the two countries.
