As part of the celebrations dedicated to World Standards Day, the International Conference "Standardization in the field of the agro-industrial complex" was held, which brought together more than 120 participants from Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan. The event has become a significant platform for discussing topical issues of standardization in the agro-industrial complex.
The organizers were the Russian Standardization Institute and the Federal Center for Food Systems named after V.M. Gorbatov.
Denis Mironov, Director General of the Russian Standardization Institute, became the moderator of the section "Novelties in the field of standardization methodology". "Continuous improvement and development of the standardization system, adaptation of its tools to the challenges of the modern world, is one of the most important tasks facing the expert community at the present time, when the need to ensure the technological sovereignty of our country, as well as the implementation of an import substitution strategy in many key areas of industry, including products of agro-industrial complex," Denis Mironov said in his welcoming speech.
In addition, he made a presentation on "Creating a comfortable ecosystem of standardization for economic and business development."
Elena Kostyleva, Director of the Institute's Department of Standardization of Materials and Technologies, made a presentation on the topic "The role of technical committees for standardization in shaping technological trends." "The requirements of the standards of organizations should reflect the advanced achievements of science and technology, and not be perceived by the expert community as a way of deviating from the requirements of national standards! This is exactly what the current initiatives to regulate this area are aimed at," commented Elena.
The conference was also attended by Elena Lebedinskaya, Deputy Director General of the Russian Standardization Institute, who spoke about the role of technical specifications for agricultural products in modern realities. The event was important for representatives of research institutes, industrial enterprises, testing centers and federal executive authorities, who discussed key aspects of standardization in the technical regulation of the Eurasian Economic Union, improving food quality control and the role of GOST as a benchmark of trust.
