The 51th session of technical committee on standardization and 34th working group on information technologies took place in Moscow on April 26-28, 2016. STANDARTINFORM was appointed as an organizer of these sessions on behalf of Rosstandart.
Members of technical committee on standardization and experts from six states-members of the Interstate Council for Standardization, Metrology and Certification of the Commonwealth of Independence States (EASC) such as the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazahstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Republic of Moldova, the Russian Federation, the Republic of Uzbekistan and also representatives of the CIS Energy Council, the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC), the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia, various committees on standardization and the EASC Bureau on Standards took part at the 51 th session.. Director General Viacheslav Vitushkin, Advisor Director General Yuriy Butyrev and Head of the International Department Julia Tufanova presented Standartinform as part of Russian delegation.
Head of the Department of technical regulating and standardization of Rosstandart Alexey Barikyn opened the session, greeted the colleagues and noted: «This event is very important for the development of standardization in our countries. We intend to implement agreements smoothly which we concluded before in previous periods». Representative of Rosstandart expressed the hope that the matters of the agenda would be fully examined and mutually acceptable decisions would be adopted.
Matters of the EASC participation in the execution of the action plan on realization of the second stage (2012-2015) of the strategy of the CIS economic development till 2020, improvement of the activities on interstate standardization, streamlining of the interstate committees on standardization and also relevance of the development of the agreement on distribution of the documents on interstate standardization were discussed at the 51th session of technical committee on standardization. Draft policy of the distribution of the interstate standards with the use of the ISO POCOSA 2012 policy principles and other matters were discussed at the 51th session of technical committee on standardization.
Participants decided to develop an agreement on distribution of the documents on interstate standardization and policy of distribution of the interstate standards with the use of international principles. Arrangement to start the discussion of these draft documents developed by Standartinform in the format of video conference was achieved.
Adopted decisions were reflected in the Protocol № 51-2016 of the session of technical committee on standardization which was signed on April 27, 2016 by the representatives of the delegations of six states-members of this session.
The Republic of Belarus, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Republic of Moldova, the Russian Federation, the Republic of Uzbekistan, the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia and the EASC Bureau on Standards were represented at the 34 th Working Group on information technologies. Advisor Director General Yuriy Butirev, Head of the International Department Julia Tufanova, Heads of Departments of printing and IT Vitaly Pugachev and Mikhail Shirokov took part in this event on behalf of Standartinform.
Matters of implementation of the Road Map on information technologies in the EASC framework and improvement of the EASC automated information system were also examined. The Protocol of the session was signed on the basis of the discussion.
