Text of the greeting:
Dear colleagues and veterans!
Accept our sincere congratulations on the Victory Day from me personally and on behalf of the Federal Agency on Technical Regulating and Metrology.
More than 70 years passed from that spring day in Berlin and this date would never become usual for us. Victory in the Great Patriotic War became a crucial point and the beginning of a new period in the history of our world with its technological progress, maturity of beliefs, intellectual properties and ideas. Matters of the improved accuracy of measurements and standardization of the best technologies on the market play an important role in these processes.
Leningrad, the Kursk Bulge and Stalingrad are not simple geographical names. There was no place in our multinational country where people did not remember that ones who protected their motherland, families and our future. People who fighted on the front line and behind the lines also contributed to the victory against fascism. Specialists on metrology and standardization play a very important role as they remained true to their profession and worked for the provision of accurate measurements and quality of military goods even in difficult times. Achievement of our colleagues is an indicator of selfless and absolute belief in their deal and the future. I am sure that it will forever remain a benchmark for us and all generations who remember and honor the history of our country.
Let this day be full of warmth, love and trust to each other and confidence in the future for you and your families. I wish everyone be in good health and peaceful sky overhead.
With bow low,
Alexey Abramov
