Head of Standartinform Viacheslav Vitushkin as part of a delegation of Rosstandart took part in the 49th session of the Interstate Council for Standardization, Metrology and Certification of the Commonwealth of Independence States (EASC), which was held on June 27-28, 2016 in Baku (the Republic of Azerbaijan).
Forty-eight matters were examined at this session including matters of implementation of decisions of CIS Charter bodies, improving the activities on interstate standardization, enhancing the EASC effectiveness on the basis of optimization of its structure and principles of financing.
Presentation of Director General of FGUP «Standartinform» was devoted to the Agreement on distribution of the documents on interstate standardization and the Order of distribution of the documents on interstate standardization.
Draft projects of these documents were developed by FGUP «Standartinform» by the order of Rosstandart according to the decisions of the second extraordinary EASC session (Protocol ES EASC № 2-2016 from March 1, 2016) and they were refined according to the decisions of the EASC Technical Committee on Standardization, which was held on April 27-28, 2016 in Moscow.
Agreement establishes the entrenchment of the exclusive right for distribution of the documents on interstate standardization for national bodies on standardization or authorized organizations.
Principles and mechanisms of distribution of the documents including their reproduction and translation were determined in the Order.
The proposed changes in the field of distribution of the documents on interstate standardization are based on the international practice and they are aimed at ensuring reliability of the implemented documents on interstate standardization and cohesion of principles of their distribution.
