Decision of the Government of the Russian Federation from June 28, 2016 №589-FZ «On Federal Information Fund of Standards» was signed. This document was prepared according to Part 5 of the Article 29 of the Federal Law from June 29,2016 № 162-FZ «On Standardization in the Russian Federation» and it would come into force since July 1,2016.
The signed decision approved provision of the order of formation, maintaining and use of the Federal Information Fund of standards and composition of the incoming documents. Organization of formation and maintaining the Federal Information Fund was imposed on Rosstandart.
It was determined that the following documents would be part of the Federal Information Fund of standards:
-documents of national system of standardization in the Russian Federation including national standards, fundamental national standards, draft national standards, rules of standardization, recommendations on standardization, scientific and technological guides,
-all- Russian classifiers of technical, economic and social information;
- codes of practice;
- international standards, regional standards, standards of foreign countries, regional and foreign codes of practice;
- properly certified Russian translations of international, regional standards, regional codes of practice, foreign standards and foreign codes of practice;
-documents on standardization of the international organizations on standardization, regional organizations on standardization and other documents on standardization of foreign countries;
Composition of the Fund is exercised by the operator of the Federal Information Fund of standards.
