Director General of FGUP «Standartinform» Viacheslav Vitushkin as part of delegation of Rosstandart took part in the events of the 39th ISO General Assembly in Beijing on September 9-14, 2016.
Rosstandart delegation met with representatives of BRICS national bodies on standardization on September 10, 2016. Mechanisms of cooperation and implementation of a joint information portal dedicated to the activities on standardization were among the discussed matters.
Cooperation in the field of training, including exchange of experience in the field of training of specialists in Russia and Mongolia were discussed at the bilateral meeting of Heads of Rosstandart and Mongolian Agency for Standardization and Metrology (MASM).
Viacheslav Vitushkin attended a solemn signing ceremony of Memorandum of understanding in the field of standardization between Rosstandart and Brazilian Standards Association on September 11, 2016. The signed act stipulates information exchange on national system of standardization and draft national standards at different stages of development.
Working meeting with Chinese colleagues on the matters of information exchange took place on September 13, 2016.
Director General of Standartinform also participated in the breakout sessions of the ISO General Assembly where international standards under development were discussed.
