As part of delegation of Rosstandart Standartinform took part in the sessions of the Interstate Council for Standardization, Metrology and Certification of the Commonwealth of Independence States (EASC):52th session of technical commission on standardization and 35th session of working group on information technologies on November 1-3, 2016.
Events which took place in Bishkek gathered together representatives of national bodies on standardization of the Russian Federation, Republic of Belarus, Republic of Kazakhstan, Republic of Uzbekistan, Republic of Moldova, EASC Bureau on standards, national technical committees on standardization of Kyrgyzstan and also members of interdepartamental working group on strengthening the interaction of information systems in energy sector of the Kyrgyz Republic, specialists of the Ministry of Economic Affairs of Kyrgyzstan, Government agency of architecture, construction and housing services and utilities under the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic and Center on standardization and metrology under the Ministry of Economic Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Standartinform was represented by Advisor Director General Yury Butyrev and Head of International Cooperation Department Julia Tufanova.
In the framework of this event main directions on the development and improvement of the activities on interstate standardization including the EASC financing model, activities of interstate technical committees and participation of the EASC members in their works were discussed. Matters of distribution of interstate standards, copyright, EASC cooperation with CIS Electric Power Council were also examined.
During the meeting representatives of standardization, metrology and certification centres and the Ministry of Economy of the Kyrgyz Republic informed about their activities in the field of Halal industry and also about the implementation of international standards on information data exchange during the operation of electric distribution networks for improving of the automated system of remote energy accounting. Kyrgyz party suggested that it would be useful to develop standards in this field at the intergovernmental level.
