STANDARTINFORM congratulates the Interstate Council for Standardization, Metrology and Certification of the Commonwealth of Independence States (EASC) with its anniversary. It will celebrate 25 years on March 13, 2017.
All this 25 years active cooperation in the field of information support of the EASC activities was maintained. Matters of improvement of the efficiency of the EASC activities and information exchange will be discussed on the 51th EASC session which will be held on May-June 2017. For this purpose, STANDARTINFORM developed draft Agreements on distribution of the documents on interstate standardization and Procedures on distribution of the documents on interstate standardization. Draft Agreement was approved by the EASC and nowadays it is under approval of the CIS States.
Joint activities of the EASC and STANDARTINFORM in the field of information support of interstate standardization and development of GOSTs is maintained in accordance with the relevant organizational and methodical EASC documents and relevant Agreement between the EASC Bureau for standards and STANDARTINFORM from May 2, 2013.
Special representatives and experts of STANDARTINFORM take part in the EASC sessions and in the sessions of its working bodies, provides the Bureau for standards with the information concerning the implementation of the documents on interstate standardization in the Russian Federation and on the lists of the translations of international and regional standards.
In the framework of interstate standardization, STANDARTINFORM leads the Secretariat of the Interstate technical committee on standardization
055 «Terminology». STANDARTINFORM also gives consultations to the representatives of national technical committees of the CIS members and interstate technical committees on terminological issues with the use of the Database «Russian Terminology» (ROSTERM). This Database contains terms and definitions, which are used during the development of standards and technical regulations.
Important activity areas are cooperation in the field of information support in domain of technical regulation in the framework of Agreement between STANDARTINFORM and the Belarusian State Institute of Standardization and Certification (BelGISS) and the Kazakh Institute of Standardization and Certification (KazInSt) from February 4, 2013 and also in the field of cataloguing in the framework of the jointly created with BelGISS pilot project of the Interstate catalogue of products of the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation.
