World Water Day is celebrated on March 22. We would like to introduce you with new standards dedicated to water.
GOST R 57164-2016 «Drinking water. Methods for determination of odour, taste and turbidity» developed by the technical committee 343 «Water quality» and Water Research and Control Center can be applied to natural and drinking water including water, which is packaged in the containers. Organoleptic assessment is exercised by the use of a direct method of identification of odours, tastes and aftertastes. Indicators can not be measured formally. System of points is used for an assessment of intensity. Turbidity of water is measured with the use of optical equipment.
GOST R 57162-2016 «Water. Determination of elements content by graphite furnace atomic absorption spectrometry» describes the method of determination of elements content such as aluminum, barium, beryllium, vanadium, bismuth, iron, cobalt, cadmium, manganese, copper and other elements by graphite furnace atomic absorption spectrometry. Its developers are LLC «Protector» and Analytical Center for Water Quality Control «ROSSA».
GOST R 57165-2016 «Water. Determination of elements by inductively coupled plasma atomic emission spectrometry» which was developed by the LLC «Protector», Water Research and Control Center, Analytical Center for Water Quality Control «ROSSA», LLC «Lumex- Marketing» can be applied to drinking, distilled, natural, wastewater and also to ice and precipitation. It contains requirements for conditions for holding of measurements, sampling, procedures of making measurements and processing of results. Developers are warning that standard does not include introduction of the staff with matters of security. Main duty of a user is to follow all requirements for health protection.
All these standards will come into effect since January 1, 2018.
