Acceptance test methods for mean wind measurements» helps during equipment acceptance for gaining information concerning movement of airstream in three dimensions and their turbulence. Standard describes methods of testing of sonic anemometers and thermometers in wind tunnels and real life conditions.
GOST 17713-89 «General agricultural meteorology. Terms and definitions» sets relevant terms for agricultural production such as biological zero, heat supply infrastructure of the plants, agricultural meteorology, total loss, humidity factor, air and soil drought, water balance and soil moisture content.
GOST R 22.1.07-99 «Safety in emergencies. Monitoring and forecasing dangerous weather phenomena and processes. General requirements» describes methods and facilities of observations, projections, lead time, manner of adverse factor of weather events, danger character of which is connected with strong influence of wind (including storms, squalls, hurricanes), rain, snowfall, dust storms, silver thaw and frost.
Monitoring includes regular supervision of qualitative and quantitative indicators of these weather events, collection, storage and processing of these supervisions and creation and maintaining of databanks.
