Adviser Director General of STANDARTINFORM Yuriy Butyrev and Head of International Cooperation Department Julia Tufanova as part of a delegation of GOST R took part in the sessions of the working bodies of the Interstate Council for Standardization, Metrology and Certification of the Commonwealth of Independence States (EASC): 53th session of technical committee on standardization and 36th session of working group on information technologies in the field of standardization, metrology and conformity assessment which took place at the Federal State Funded Institution «Uraltest» on April 24-26, 2017 in Ekaterinburg.Deputy Head of Rosstandart Anton Shalaev led the Russian delegation.
Representatives of national bodies on standardization of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Republic of Belarus, Republic of Kazakhstan, Russian Federation and also representatives of interstate technical committees on standardization and the EASC Bureau for standards.
Series of matters were discussed pursuant to the agenda which was adopted at the 53th session of technical committee on standardization. They are the following: implementation of the decisions of the CIS highest bodies, EASC decisions and recommendations of technical committee on standardization within its area of competence, including issues of the EASC participation in the execution of action plan on the implementation of the third stage (2016-2020) of the CIS economic development strategy till 2020, mainstreaming of work program on interstate standardization for 2016-2018, matters of interstate technical committees, distribution of the documents on interstate standardization.
Draft Agreement on distribution of the documents on interstate standardization which was finalized according to the remarks of the states - CIS members by STANDARTINFORM was approved at the end of the 53th session of technical committee on standardization. Mechanism of further consideration of Draft Procedure of distribution of the documents on interstate standardization was also determined.This Procedure was prepared pursuant to the Agreement on distribution of the documents on interstate standardization. It also sets the rules and terms of distribution of the documents on interstate standardization.
Eight matters of the agenda were examined at the 36th session of working group on information technologies including matters concerning technical support of the EASC automated information system taking into account implementation of the requirements of new versions of fundamental interstate standards and matters of updating of information on relevant interstate and national standards and establishment of the databases of the data retrieval system «CIS Standard ».
Next sessions are planned for October 2017.
