STANDARTINFORM took part in the 4th session of working group on cooperation in the field of standardization, metrology and conformity assessment of the Slovak-Russian Intergovernmental Commission for Economic, Scientific and Technical Cooperation which took place in the Embassy of the Slovak Republic in Moscow on April 27, 2017.
Russian delegation was led by the Deputy Head of Rosstandart, Chairman of the permanent working group Boris Potemkin while Slovak delegation was led by the Director of the Department of Conformity assessment, Deputy Director General of the Department of European Affairs of the Slovak Office of Standards, Metrology and Testing, Chairman of the Slovak working group Monica Laurovichova.
Matters of cooperation in the field of standardization, education, information support, metrology and conformity assessment were examined during the session.
Parties shared the information concerning changes of the normative base in the field of standardization in their countries. Head of International Cooperation Department of STANDARTINFORM Julia Tufanova thoroughly told about the Federal Information Fund of Standards. As the issue of information support is a key matter in the framework of international cooperation, it was decided that enhanced bilateral cooperation was needed in this field. Parties agreed to consider and negotiate draft Agreement on distribution of standards.
Protocol was signed according to the results of the session.
