474 standards on interstate and national standardization on sugar, cocoa beans, textiles, small air-moving devices, gas supply system, perfume and cosmetic products, cashpoints and payment terminals, meat containing cans, sausage products, milk and milk products came into force in July 2017.
Among them there are standards on fruit and vegetables which were prepared by the Scientific Research Center «Kubanagrostandart».
GOST 33932-2016 «Fresh cucumbers for retail. Specifications» describes requirements for fresh cucumbers which are available for retail trade.
GOST 33953-2016 «Fresh strawberries. Specifications» is applied for fresh strawberries of Fragaria L species for fresh consumption of strawberries and for their industrial processing.
According to this standard strawberries have to be good shaped, ephebic but not overripe, healthy, fresh, clean but not washed, without mechanical failures and unnecessary external moisture. These berries should be kept in clean, dry, free of foreign smell refrigerated warehouses or freezers.
